Newlyweds Go Straight to Hell(‘s Kitchen)

Clearly, the poor bride’s veil was too tight and cutting off the air to her brain. Having Hell’s Kitchen chefs cook for a wedding reception should have guaranteed a very quick change of classic song lyrics from, “It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to,” to “It’s my wedding and I’ll scream if I want to,” but shockingly, the bride and groom on this week’s episode of Hell’s Kitchen not only got to eat themselves, but their guests did too!

Apparently Chef Ramsay saves important events until he feels the chefs deserve to stay in the kitchen for the night or he relaxed a bit on the usual freak outs to make sure this couple’s wedding wasn’t entirely destroyed. He wasn’t exactly kind in the kitchen, but he did throw out a few compliments to Jen though he did throw her teammate, Melissa, out of the kitchen. But all the wedding bliss got to his head and he actually allowed Melissa a second chance at the end!

While the girls trembled in their boots that their dear Bonnie would get kicked out instead of the Dictator (aka Melissa) since Jen had no choice but to put two people up for elimination, the entire cast was shocked when Ramsay not only allowed Melissa to stay but then changed her over from the Red Team to the men’s Blue Team. Rock had the smirk wiped right off his face when he heard that! He hardly even interacted with her in this last episode, yet he made it quite clear he couldn’t stand her, so having her on his team should go extremely well. Maybe, just maybe, this glimmer of drama caught the producers’ eyes causing them to come up with this crafty switch!

If you were the bride or groom and you were served that pathetic excuse for a duck by the women, wouldn’t you have run as fast as you could away from there? Eventhough they didn’t pick that dish, those same women would be cooking for them…Yikes! I guess it turned out ok though, and it truly will be a memorable reception for them. Heck, if I were invited it probably would have been the first wedding I didn’t dread.

It would be awesome to have a reception at somewhere like Hell’s Kitchen if you knew it would end up going well definitely! I’m sure the guests who weren’t close enough to the bride and groom to be worried their day was going to be ruined had a great time waiting to see if there’d be a disaster!
